Logan's Run is a great bad movie. What makes it great is the genuine energy and seriousness put into it. As sci-fi, it is not even terrible, but rather it is good fun as far as the concepts go. The youthful earnestness (typical of that era, like Luke in Star Wars) of the lead characters is a refreshing change from typical posturing that one expects, and it adds to the fun/silly vibe. Perhaps four stars is generous, but I enjoyed it; Logan's Run is just the type of flick to put on when you have a few random hours to kill late at night.
